Hollywood is the main target of aspiring actors and actresses. If you ever land a big role in a summer blockbuster Hollywood film, you will get a ton of money and exposure, especially if the movie is received well. But not every celebrity gets to be in the spotlight for a long time. Some eventually fade away from the radar and are no longer wanted in movies.
Let us have a look on some of those unfortunate actors.
Back in 2008, her career seemed like everything was going well for her. Many people loved her, especially once she won an Emmy back in 2007 for her outstanding role on Grey's Anatomy. However, she decided to stay out of the nominations the next year out of the belief that she did not do well enough. After that, she was no longer included in the show and her film opportunities declined.

He appeared in the 2011 movie titled Abduction, but that did not do well. Likewise, there are rumors that he demands high payment, even if he is not seen as a big star capable of selling movies.
Hilary Swank looked like she had it all after her stellar performances in 2000's Boys Don't Cry and 2005's award-winning Million Dollar Baby yet nothing else really followed. It could even be argued that her last decent role was way back in 2007 in P.S. I Love You.
Jessica Biel is a hot actress, and we cannot deny that. But after appearing in a series of popular films such as I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Stealth, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Blade: Trinity, Jessica Biel was suddenly out of the spotlight. She apparently hoped to be Fantine in the film adaptation of Les Miserables, but Anne Hathaway secured that role.
Freddie is a handsome guy, and his roles in Scooby-Doo and I Know What You Did Last Summer were quite memorable. But he could not keep up and landed bad roles, such as in the animated film title Delgo. That film was so bad that it only got $600,000 when $40 million was used to make the movie.
Back in the 2000s, Catherine Zeta-Jones was stunning everyone with her roles in High Fidelity, Ocean's Twelve, Chicago, and The Legend of Zorro. But after that, she disappeared. Maybe it was because of her bipolar disorder, her choice to appear in indie films, and her problems with her married life, but Hollywood no longer paid attention.
This guy is one of the best examples of a future that ended horribly. He was famous for being the kid in the classic Home Alone films, but his supposed drug addiction made him look absolutely terrible. Likewise, the pressure to succeed must have been too much for him to handle.
Many people are familiar with Brendan Fraser because of The Mummy, but he became one of the most famous actors Hollywood actors that was suddenly unwanted. The fact that the last installments of The Mummy appeared too late hurt his chances of gaining back his popularity too.
This comedian was so popular back in the 1980s and the 1990s because of Dr. Doolittle and The Nutty Professor. But then Norbit came along, and that was not really liked by critics. However, he did appear in Tower Heist, so maybe he still has a chance of being a Hollywood favorite again.
Toby became incredibly famous when he landed the role of being Spider-Man, but no he is in his 40s and two younger people have already taken his role of being the Marvel superhero. With his young image gone, he has to try more serious roles to get back the attention of Hollywood.
