The Sino-Indian project 'Kung Fu Yoga' has been the talk of the town for quite a long time now. It stars Sonu Sood and Jackie Chan in the notable roles. The project has managed to get the much-needed hype in both the neighboring countries. Any news of the movie, be it shooting or post-production, is very well received in both the countries.
The movie is in the news again, but this time not due to any shooting schedule or post production issue, but the unexpected Bhangra moves which mesmerized the fans across both countries.
Sonu Sood, the Dabangg star, and Jackie Chan, the 62 years old legendary actor, were seen dancing to the tunes of Punjabi song 'Tunak Tunak Tun' at the 19th Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF).
Jackie was asked by the Indian co-star, Sonu Sood, to show some dance moves. Jackie agreed to the request of his co-star with delight. After having his share of shaky and hesitant beginning, Chan soon started to dance at ease. The dance steps though impromptu, seemed well choreographed. Jackie Chan's Bhangra took everyone by surprise. The actor known for his acrobatic fighting style, exemplary comic timing and innovative stunts stunned one and all with his Bhangra steps. The notable philanthropist showed he is not less than anybody when it comes to entertainment.
After the event, Sonu tweeted quite a few photos of the event. He also tweeted a video of the impromptu dance on the social networking site. The Bhangra steps of Jackie and Sonu were also among the few photos tweeted. Sonu Sood was full of praises for Jackie Chan and the entire cast and crew of the film. He even addressed 'Jackie Chan' as the most humble man and his brother.
Sonu also took to Instagram to share the pictures of the red carpet of Shanghai International Film Festival.
Daler Mehndi, the Bollywood playback singer who sung the iconic Punjabi song 'Tunak Tunak Tun', also expressed his gratitude towards Sonu Sood for using his song to shake a leg with Jackie.
Both of these actors will be seen working together for the first time in the Sino-Indian project 'Kung Fu Yoga'. This flick is a part of three-film agreement signed between the two neighboring countries. Kung Fu Yoga is directed by Stanley Tong. Apart from Jackie Chan and Sonu Sood, this flick also stars Amyra Dastur, Disha Patani, Aarif Rahman and Zhang Guoli. This multi-lingual film has been shot in Jaipur and Iceland. This action-adventure comedy film is stated to be released in 2017. If sources are to be believed, this Sino-Indian flick will release on 28th January, 2017 in China.
