The Bilderberg Group, Bilderberg meetings, Bilderberg Conference or Bilderberg club is a private conference held yearly and it consists of 120 to 150 people from the European and North American political elite, experts from finance, media and industry.
It was established in 1954 and the first Bilderberg conference was held in Netherlands from 29 to 31 May 1954. This year, the Bilderberg meeting will take place from 9-12 June in Dresden, Germany.
Let's know more about them.
The Bilderberg Group is one of the most reserved and powerful organizations of which you've probably never heard. Although the group was formed in 1954, there is still very less accurate information available about the group. When the group was formed it's primary goal was to promote Atlanticism. When the meeting was started back in 1954, it included the who's who of the most powerful elites and sat down to decide the future of the world and have been successful to an extent in shaping it secretly.
It is from the past 8 years that the venues of the Bilderberg group have been officially announced but still to this date the members and the agenda discussed is kept confidential and this worries me as I can't let a handful of people decide about some of the most important events concerning this world.
The annual meeting including representatives from government, media, think tanks, as well as numerous other organizations representing both public and private interests have completed their closed-door discussions amid high security and the outcome is not known to the people, this is what bothers me the most.
According to the UK Independent, no minutes will be taken, there will be no press conference, no reporters will be allowed in, no closing statement and participants will be asked not to quote one another - this is what was said of the 64th Bilderberg conference which was held in Germany.
For some strange reason, there has been little or no media coverage from the mainstream media as well as the alternative media in trying to understand the Bilderberg group. There can be a strong possibility of the giant media moguls being a part of it.
Some comprehend the meeting as a giant corporate event merely for lobbying. The Chatham House Rule states that "When a meeting or a part is held under the rule, the participants are free to use the information received but the identity or the affiliation of speakers, or that of any other participant CANNOT be revealed.''
One thing which is sure is that the gathering allows the most powerful people of the world to meet at a secret place and have off the track discussions without the public being aware of the agenda discussed.
Let me give you an example of what high-level events are discussed at the Bilderberg. Bill Clinton attended the conference in 1991 and he was just the governor of Arkansas then but the next year he becomes the president of the most powerful nation i.e the U.S.A. Tony Blair was just a shadow minister when he was invited to the Bilderberg in 1993 and then in 1997 he becomes the prime minister of United Kingdom. This can be merely a coincidence but all the readers might have understood about the depths of issues discussed in the Bilderberg.
We as people have nothing in the Bilderberg group which makes it accountable and democratic but even the countries have a very little to say in the group which makes it one of the most coveted events.
The purpose behind writing this article was to make people aware of the things happening around them of which they have no idea and has everything to do with their future. I guess now you have an idea about how powerful this group is and what is the Bilderberg group capable of doing.
