The European Championship has since past five decades not only produced, groomed and showcased talents of hundreds of world-class soccer players but has also given its viewers a treat as tasty as a Banoffee Pie. With the likes of old heroes such as Xavi, David Villa, Mario Balotelli, Zinedine Zidane, Andres Iniesta and Cristiano Ronaldo, Euro Cup 2016 holds a great weight on its shoulders and thighs to serve its spectators.
For this, FIFA has introduced Euro Cup 2016 New Rules that are on-road to change the course of the history of this game forever. The Euro Cup 2016 locations where this mega-event is gonna take place are blessed with one other gift, and that is the fact that for the first time in UEFA Euro Cup history, the number of teams qualifying the Euro Cup 2016 qualifying draw are as high as 24. Too much of a historic event, isn't it?
Controlling the adrenaline rush before this mega show is hard and this is only due to the fact that Euro Cup is the second most-watched soccer event on the globe only after FIFA World Cup. And why not, no other game but football has been on the priority of viewers worldwide.
Not deviating from the topic and killing my readers' patience, let me bring to you the ten new rules that you must know as Euro Cup fans.

Injuries have since the initial days of soccer, overpowered the game. This is that painful area in the game that can not be neglected or taken perfect care of even with the best of technologies. None can forget the FIFA World Cup 2014 injury of Neymar Jr. that eventually led to Brazil losing their chance to lift the cup.
Keeping all the points in mind, FIFA has decided to let an injured player get the treatment on the field for as long as 20 seconds and stay in the game. The old way wherein a player had to go off the field and wait only for the referee's referral to get back on the field will hence get the perfect treatment with this new rule.
Go, my players, no injury can stop you from entertaining my readers!
UEFA Euro 2016 will witness one another engrossing rule, yeah engrossing for some players with some booty, ah sorry, boot problem. According to this rule, the player unintentionally losing his boot while playing will now be allowed to continue the play until it officially is called off.
What difference will this make? Well, maybe we can witness a bootless goal from a toothless guy, if you know what I mean. And for those who don't, go to the next page and meet the talented footballer.
Suarez tries his best when playing to not only play using his foot or his teeth but with his hands as well. He so can be termed as the only multitalented player of football who knows to play soccer with every body part, after maybe, Maradona. Remember the Hand Of God?
The incidents like Suarez's hand-ball in the penalty box, inclusive of on-the-line can now lead to punishment with a penalty goal.
So this what I meant when I asked that question in the photo caption.
The history around the red cards has been both funny as well as a matter of controversy since forever. This time, an even greater toughness has been shown by FIFA around the sportsman spirit of players playing in the draw.
France 2016 will see a new rule wherein the referee will have the power as good as Superman where he will hold all the authority to show Red Card to a player misbehaving even off the field. By off the field, I mean even in the tunnels or outside the dressing room or the dugouts.
This will reinforce a better environment and the rule will not allow the player violating this to play that match. Instead, a new player from the extras will be given a chance to join the playing eleven.
A kickass rule on the Kick-offs is sure to piss no one off!
This rule says that during the kick-off, the ball can now be driven in any direction, be it backward so that no player will now be allowed to stand on the opponent's side.
Is this a bad news? Well, no news in soccer is a bad news, all it needs is a change in strategies. The team which will be able to use this rule for its positive will be the team that will have that initial knack over the other team. As simple as that!
This came off as a true shocker!
The Rocking Euro Cup 2016 will not just see some serious rules woven around some important stuff, but some light rules that will not catch your eyes instantly. It will only catch your eyes if you are deeply mesmerized by your favorite player's hot bod.
Players will no more have the freedom to choose their favorite Batman undergarment, lol!
It is not advised but made into a rule that the color of players' underwears should match with their jersey's color. No green will have the freedom to sport a blue on the field.
However off the field, it hardly will bother FIFA even if you do not wear anything at all!
Under only very hot/humid conditions, players will now be allowed to have a drinks break. This rule has come into enforcement only since the first of June and is not a very good news for the players from cooler countries on the planet.
Where the hotness around the ticket counters to buy Euro 2016 Tickets is getting higher and higher, the players are left with nothing to get them distracted. Not even the cheerleaders carrying the pom poms nor the Euro Cup 2016 WAGs as they have a great responsibility to showcase the best in them in this one month.
While stuttering runs will still be allowed, any other ''playing around'' during the penalty shootout can have severe circumstances. This may lead to Red Cards or even indirect freekicks.
This rule was since long looking as a very obvious one to hit the cards and it is this time in the Euro Cup 2016, the cup of surprises, that the rule has finally been announced. This again will require a whole new strategy for the penalty specialists of every team.

No more guiding the ball with one hand is allowed now and ofcourse not to be thrown singlehandedly. This is so far and so forth, an already understood one but still, the fact that not even guiding the ball with one hand and throwing it using the other is allowed is something to be taken care of.
The rule says that throwing the ball in using both the hands will only stay acceptable. So to my players, I will suggest some hard practice not only of Football but of Basketball as well. The half court basket will help wonders, what do you guys think?
The famous or I must rather say, the infamous "Triple Punishment Rule" will no more be as harsh or cruel as it used to be before Euro Cup 2016. The new rule emphasizes on awarding a Yellow card and not the Red card when a player is found to be leaving a goal scoring opportunity.
This can also be called as a blessing in the disguise for the ones who have already had enough of the rules mentioned above.
With this, I am signing off until my next story on the updates or Ero Cup 2016 facts. Do your bit with sharing and commenting on the story.
