Peepholes were introduced to the world in the name of security, but how word turns around! There have been instances where the security was compromised and used as a weapon instead for breach of security. For an instance, an ESPN reporter was filmed when she was in a hotel room, through the peephole. Now, you must not ignore something that has a possibility of rupturing your privacy.
And, so here we present a cool DIY for a peephole cover. Thank us later!
These are your requirements for this amazing hack.
9 popsicle sticks, glue, metal hanger, duct tape, scissors, door stop, moldable glue, wood stain, 2 LEGO gray half pin with stud, 2 LEGO black tile- 1x4, 2 LEGO black wheel centers- spoked small.
Then stick them using some duct tape. Use two more to cover the top and bottom, and mark them as you'll have to cut them to match the sizes.
And, now using some glue you can stick them to the duct taped sticks.
Measure them out, and cut out the 2 popsicle sticks for an X pattern between the top and bottom sticks.
You are absolutely free to use whatever you like. Use your creativity here.
Take a half pin and insert it into a wheel. Now, attach the wheel to a 1x4 tile piece. Make two likewise.
While using this fantastic utility, attach the wheel to the popsicle door.
Make sure you use toothpick to get rid of the excess glue.
Stick it using Sugru again, to your door.
As the Sugru will need some time to cure.
And test it out. Decoration+ Privacy= Peace of mind.
