Being the third wheel is not always a bad thing. For one, you get to hang out with other people who you are close with. In addition, they can even treat you with food and drinks! You might be alone while the two of them are holding hands together, but you are not necessarily lonely.
But this guy took it to another level. He was just another third wheel until he noticed something eventually unfolding right before his eyes. What is it?

At first, it would not seem like something remarkable would happen. After all, it was just another date, right?
Maybe he just wanted the world and the two people he was with that he actually existed. Even from here, you can see that the man and the woman were already hitting it off.
The guy does not look like he's having a bad time, but he also does not seem to be having a blast. Maybe it's just his face that sends the wrong messages.
Because even if he is not with someone he loves, at least he is looking better.
At this point, you can sense that the man and the woman were truly being comfortable with each other. The guy still looks hesitant, for some reason.
So they've gone to an amusement park, inside a car, and a home. This time, they're checking out shoes.
It's pretty amusing how the guy looks like he's farther away from them than usual. Does he sense something developing?
The guy can't help but squint a bit because of the sun. At least they could all get some much-needed exercise.
If you look closely, the guy has been having more lines on his forehead. He's probably thinking why they have to go hiking all the time now.
They are literally back on the road, and it's been 3 years of following them around and posting everything on Instagram. What could the final event of this third-wheeling guy be?
Of course he would be invited to their wedding ceremony! See, it's not so bad to be the third wheel sometime. You get to see them grow and love each other. Some couples don't work out, but it must feel good to know that you've documented a wonderful and lovely adventure.
