She was found guilty of animal cruelty recently in a Wake County, NC courtroom. The verdict is a year of supervised probation.

Cary, NC Animal Control Supervisor, Shelly Smith, investigated Lemansky's case after a three-state investigation revealed that the photo had originated from that area.

Because as it is said, it's not the righteous thing to do. In the court proceedings, the prosecutor argued that the act didn't bring any notable injuries to the dog, but it did hurt anyway.
