Stan Lee is a legend in The Marvel Universe, being responsible for most of the characters in the Marvel Comics. True Marvel fans or "True Believers" as Stan likes to call them wait for two things when watching Marvel movies, one being the inevitable post credit scenes and second being the few second appearance of Stan Lee.
Let's take a look a some of his most memorable cameos.
This is one of the hilarious cameos of Stan Lee. He is an old librarian with big headphones completely oblivious to the destruction being caused behind his back because of the battle between Spider-Man and Green Goblin.
His rare appearance where he interacts with one of the marvel hero, Thor. Referring to Thor as "blondie," he haves a taste of the Asgardian liquor later leaving the party drunk out of this mind.
Stan drinks some soda infected by the Hulk's blood. For a split-second, everyone watching hoped Lee to turn in the Green raged monster.
Tony Stark strikes again. In what is one of the most memorable cameos, Tony Stark confuses Stan Lee for Hugh Hefner.
Iron Man Franchise, aside from the signature Stan Lee appearance, have a signature Tony Stark mistaking Stan for someone else. In Iron Man 2, he mistakes him for Larry King.
This movie was definitely one of the worst Marvel movies, but its only redeeming quality may have been Stan Lee's cameo as… Stan Lee! When he tries to enter the wedding of Reed Richards and Susan Storm, he states his name to which the guard replies "Nice try!"
It is one of those "blink and miss it" moments. But it's cool to see Stan Lee in a mental ward.
This definitely is one the funniest Lee's cameos. The poor security guard's job is on the line after he looses the Captain America costume.
Lee appears in the news reel in the first Avengers movie.
For the first time, Lee did a cameo in an animated movie. While he goes for an emotional scene it is quite funny.
Humans try to move Thor's hammer but it won't budge. Ther try tieing it to the back of a truck and give it another go. Back of the truck is torn off but the hammer doesn't move an inch. Lee emerges from the truck saying, "Did it work?"
