Clothing DIY hacks fall into that category of life hacks which make us say almost every time, 'Damn, why didn't I read this yesterday?' The beauty of life hacks, especially the ones for cleaning lies in the fact that they're much cheaper than traditional means of using chemicals and expensive products.
Just yesterday, we brought to you a bunch of housekeeping hacks that are pretty natural, and now we have some super easy DIY clothing hacks to give your clothes another life without any trouble!
If you spill red wine drops on your cotton shirt, you don't need to toss it off and wear a new one. Just pour some club soda on the stain and dab it with a paper towel. The stain will be all gone!
Just wrap the waistband of a pair of pants around your neck. If the ends of the waistband don't meet each other, the pants are small for your waist!
However hard you try, if a shirt button wants to fall, it will even if you have sewn it back for 100 times. This time, after you're done sewing that sucker, dab a bit of clear nail polish to make it stay where it needs to stay!
Just sprinkle some lemon juice on the armpit stains on your clothes before washing them and let it stay for a while.
You really don't need tp wsh your shirt just because of a deodorant stain. Simply use a baby wipe and rub it on the stain area to find your shirt as good as before!
If your clothes have unfortunate beach stains after a trip to the summer beach, instead of throwing away the t-shirt, just cover the stains with a Sharpie (permanent marker)
The stain caused by your favorite red lipstick can be removed by something that lies in your cosmetic kit already! Put some hairspray on the stain, let it stay for a while and let it clean itself in the wash. Your work here is done.
If it's windy out there and you return home only to find tiny pesky scraps stuck on your trousers, just use a razor to wipe them off like a pro once you're done washing it.
Wipe your leather boots with liquid soap and hot water after brushing them properly. Then spray the boots with a 1:1 ratio mixture of water and vinegar and wipe it with a dry cloth. You can also rub some moisturizer for extra glow on your boots.
Place a tank top you'd like to design the t-shirt like on it and outline the neck and straps on the t-shirt. Now carefully, cut the t-shirt along the outlines. Use scrap parts to tie the straps together and twist the back till you find it in the perfect fit for you.
Guys can thank their girlfriends now!
Just apply some moisturizer on your leather shoes and they'd be as good as polished from a rather expensive leather polish!
Add three drops of essential oil to a shot of vodka and some warm water in a spray bottle and mix it well. Spray the mix on your denim vest or jeans and let it sit overnight. The smell would be all gone in the morning.
