People are born, they live their life and complete the journey which they were sent for and then die. This is the rule of the Universe and no one knows when the next thing is going to happen or let me correct and rephrase, not many know what is for them in the future because there are a few people who saw what was coming to them and predicted their own deaths! And guess what, they were true in the predictions.
Let's have a look at some of the personalities who saw their end coming.
Pete Maravich aka pistol was one of the greatest basketball players of all time. He was also in the Naismith Memorial Hall Of Fame and also on the list of 50 greatest players in NBA history. Maravich was 26 and was at the peak of his career but he thought that basketball was not everything to his life. In an interview, he said that "I don't want to play 10 years in the NBA and then die of a heart attack at 40." Sadly, but true despite being in a good state of health he died at 40 due to a heart attack.
Mark Twain is perhaps the greatest American writer of all time. We all know about his literary accomplishments but not many of us know that he could also see future, precisely his death. In 1909, Twain said
"I came in with Halley's Comet in 1835. It is coming again next year, and I expect to go out with it. It will be the greatest disappointment of my life if I don't go out with Halley's Comet. The Almighty has said, no doubt: 'Now here are these two unaccountable freaks; they came in together, they must go out together." And his prediction was accurate! He died one day after the Comet's closest approach to Earth.
It was discovered in the later years that Princess Diana predicted her death months before it actually happened. She had written a letter to her trusted butler Paul Burrell, and explained some strange feelings that she had about getting into some car accident. She even mentioned the names of people responsible for it. It seems strange that she died, in the same way, the way she had mentioned.
Mikey Welsh the bassist of the band Weezer accurately predicted his death. He received a lot of media attention in 2011 after he tweeted about his death.
Welsh died at the exact time he had predicted. While the police thought drugs might have been a cause, the toxicology report was inconclusive and the cause remains a mystery.
Boxer Sugar Ray Robinson had a dream that he would kill one of his opponents in a fight. He was supposed to fight boxer Jimmy Doyle on June 25, 1947. Days before the fight Robinson complained about a dream he had in which he killed Doyle in a fight with a left hook. The dream troubled him so much that he made several attempts to back out of the fight. Even a priest was brought to assure him that the dream was not true and he should fight against Jimmy. As the match proceeded Sugar was winning the fight and in the 8th round, he delivered a strong left hook to Jimmy which left him unconscious. As the referee declared Robinson the winner, it was soon realized that Jimmy was more than just being unconscious. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead. Everything went out exactly as Sugar had dreamt!! Strange but true.
Frank Pastore was a famous baseball player, he played for the Cincinnati reds and later hosted his own radio show in Los Angeles. He once said, "Look, you guys know I ride a motorcycle, right? So, at any moment, especially with the idiot people who cross the diamond lane into my lane, alright, without any blinkers, not that I'm angry about it - at any minute I could be spread all over the 210." Only 3 hours later after making this statement , he was hit on his motorcycle by a woman who lost control of her car!! He suffered major head injuries and died after a short time.
Abraham Lincoln dreamt about his assassination almost two weeks before he was shot. In the middle of a civil war and a lot of stress he was having a lot of violent dreams those days. He recalled that he felt as if his life had stopped and as he walked down the stairs he heard people sobbing. When he reached the East Room he found soldiers guiding a coffin. He found people crying in the room and when he asked one of the soldiers who had died in the White House, the soldier replied: "The President, he was killed by an assassin." Lincoln was very bothered by this dream, and it came true on April 14,1865, and after that, his coffin was placed in the East Room and guarded by soldiers.
