It is rightly said that even death can't separate the true lovers. Shi Jaramillo, 27 andfiancé Patrick Reetz, 37 wanted to do something different on their engagement. This couple from Austin, Texas thought of expressing their unconditional love for each other in a bizarre manner.
So, they planned for a horror setup on their engagement, what they did on their ring ceremony will make your jaw drop in surprise!
So, they thought of doing something crazy.
Shi explained: "We're a little bit different and didn't want anything like that. When we told our photographer he said, 'You guys are twisted, this is awesome.' My fiancé teaches anatomy and I love horror, and we thought, 'What's the craziest thing you could test someone with than the location of a body?'"
Shi decided the theme and poses for the shoot while Patrick provided the suggestions of props for the shoot.
Patrick explained: "While Shi was the brain child of the whole affair, I suggested the minor subtleties like the knife behind the back and in a way what we did was satirising traditional engagement photos. Shi is a genius, she's beyond beautiful and so creative. We literally do everything together other than work, so it made sense to show that in our photos – she's my best friend."
However, the couple managed to convince Asha for this unconventional shoot. Asha exclaimed: "I'm sure that along with all the people who'll like it there will definitely be some who it far out and maybe a bit gross. We spent a lot of time giggling – it's hard not to when your hauling a 'dead body' along Austin's greenbelt."
They wrapped the doll in sheets for giving it the appearance of a real dead body.
Shi giggled: "We went on this very busy trail and then wandered off into the woods for three hours and forgot to take anything to clean ourselves with afterwards. There we were covered in fake blood walking down this busy trail. People were waving and saying hello because they're so nice in Texas. Eventually we found a mini water fountain to clean ourselves off."
The couple will be tying knots in August. Their wedding invitation is creepier than their photoshoot. The cover reads: "Find what you love and let it kill you." The RSVP card reads: "Will you help us find the bodies."
