IN People ON
We reside in a country where working parents somehow could not take care of their children wholly; as a result, they hire people professionals like babysitters for their children. But without correct supervision, your children could get taken away. Ok, what if babysitters to whom you trust for your children turn out to be the wrong persons only for them. Yes, something similar happened recently.
A babysitter, who was appointed to take care of a 1-year-old baby boy beat him and smacked him. And on the top of it, the person who admitted his mistake was not arrested and is still roaming free. Let's have a light over the whole matter.
Alicia Quinney and Joshua Marbury live in Sherwood, Oregon with their two children. Their 1-year-old boy Jacob was the one who suffered.
Jacob being only 1-year-old was found alone in the room crying by his parents and the person who was hired for taking care of him was sleeping on the couch.
The boy was hit by the babysitter so badly that his right eye and face turned black and completely injured.
The doctors showed the visible handprints of the culprit and even claimed that the injuries could have killed the baby.
Even the abuser confession was there, fingerprints were there, the person was not put behind bars on the basis of "lack of evidence."
State law suggests that there should be a prosecutor to prove the whole incidence. This is so unfair, just because a baby can't relate you verbally doesn't mean the abuser is correct.
After 2 months of frustration and no action from the pathetic legal system, Jacob's parents thought to use social media- Facebook to create awareness about the case and demand justice.
