For all those pre-teens, teenagers, young adults, and adults of the late 80's out there, the Metrocolor comedy film 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' might be very nostalgic to you. Do you still remember how Ferris Bueller (played by Matthew Boderick) made his strategic way out of school to spend the rest of his day in Downtown Chicago, with his love interest named Sloane Peterson (played by Mia Sara), and best friend Cameron Frye (Alan Rye), and all those scenes that will turn you to a mixed-emotional person? Well, there's really too much to recall about.
But wait, there's a better news for you. Did you know that this year, this film directed by John Hughes, and filmed by Panavision will be re-showed through the efforts of Paramount Pictures, Turner Classic Movies, and Fathom Events? The year 2016 marks the 30th-anniversary celebration of the film which was released on June 11, 1986, and it's going to be a blast.
For their 30th year celebration, of course, we should not forget everyone who put a lot of sweat, brainchild, saliva and energy to complete the film, especially the cast who put their lives in order to establish the characters of this comedy film.

Remember that monotonous lecture elaborating the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act? Apparently, it's not how he really does things. After the production, Ben moved on with his life and become busy, like being a host of various shows including America's Most Smartest Model, a speechwriter for a US president, and now, he's a commentator on political events in various news programs.
Charlie experienced too much challenges and recognitions even after the film. He starred in Platoon, Wall Street, Young Guns, Eight Men Out, Major League, Hot Shots!, and The Three Musketeers among others. Fifteen years ago (2001), he played a role in Two and a Half Men. Although achieving the cloud in the show business industry, his personal life took a toll on him. On television, she has been part of series like L.A. Law, Without a Trace, CSI: Miami, and Burn Notice.
One year after the film, Jennifer starred in another famous film Dirty Dancing, where she was nominated for in the Golden Globe Awards. In 2010, Jennifer garnered the championship title on the eleventh season of Dancing With The Stars. Right now, she's playing the role of Judy, mother of the lead character David played by Craig Roberts in Red Oaks.
Two years after Ferris Bueller's Day Off stint, Joseph Jones played as Charles Deetz in Beetlejuice, and he starred in films like Ed Wood, House Guest , Heartbreakers, and Dr. Dolittle 2. In 2003, he was arrested for being involved in child pornography. Three years later, he was arrested twice for not updating his 'sexual offender' status, in California and Florida.
Aside from being an actor--where he's been part of television shows Big Time Rush, Blossom, Double Trouble, Arrested Development and Star Trek: Enterprise, he pursued to be a director, writer, editorial cartoonist, and producer, both for movies and television.
After Lyman nailed the role of Tom Bueller, he married Cindy Pickett, who also played as his wife in the movie. In 1990, he joined the Beverly Hills, 90210 cast. In 2001, he did a cameo at the Not Another Teen Movie, spoofing his role as Ferris Bueller's dad.
Matthew did not seem to get away with Filmography, especially when there's this proof that he's always part of a movie project every year. For the last six years, he starred in various roles in 11 movies. In 2016 alone, he starred in The American Side, Rules Don't Apply, The Gettysburg Address, and Look Away.
By far, this actress, comedian, and singer made 55 television episodes and 90 films. She's also good with voice acting, and she was included as a voice actress in movies Home on the Range, Cars, Scooby-Doo! Pirates Ahoy!, Cars 2, Food fight!, Wreck-It-Ralph, Frozen, and the recent Animated Disney film Zootopia.
Sloan, as an American actress has various roles and movie participations after the comedy film. Some of her recent movies and television series were Pretty Pretty (2013), Dorothy and the Witches of Oz (2012), The Witches of Oz (2011), and Tinseltown (2007). We will also not forget her on her role as Melissa Walker in Timecop, where she won the Best Supporting Actress Awards, given by the Saturn Awards.
Alan Ruck did not stop to make his acting career flourish. In fact, he was able to take part in notable movies Bad Boys, Three Fugitives,Young Guns II, Speed, Twister and Kickin' It Old Skool.
The movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off opened more opportunities for Kristy. During the same year, she's given the lead role and starred as Samantha Pringle in Deadly Friend. Other movies she's been involved as were Not Quite Human, Diving In,Hot Shots!, The Program, and her most recent films include A Belle For Christmas, Where Heaven And Hell Collide, and Mimesis 2.
