One really cannot say whether social media is a boon or a bane, but one thing is for sure that as far as today's youth is considered, they make sure that their every single activity is shared and hits well on social media sites.
Here is another dumbfounded story of this girl who went on to live-stream her own death on the app Periscope while jumping in front of a train at Egly, Essonne.
The girl, whose name has not been revealed, was born in 1997. She talked about her mental health during the video, before committing suicide at Egly station.
During this time, the woman discusses in French about how she is going to make a video to "send a message" and warned her younger viewers not to watch.
The girl alleges that her ex-boyfriend, whom she names, had abused and raped her.
"I have reached the point where nothing pleases me, and nothing can make me want to get up in the morning," she said before taking her own life.
It's sad to see such a young girl so fragile that she'd end her life, but it's also even scarier that hundreds of people viewed someone kill themselves and seemed to be entertained by it.
Share and ask your friends not to encourage such steps and there is so much to do in life than to end it.
