Ever wondered why girls wear a white dress on their wedding? In February 1840, Queen Victoria married Prince Albert and wore a white dress. That was the day when the trend started and it continues till date. There are many connotations behind the white color, it symbolises purity and virginity but Queen Victoria wore it just because she loved white color.

White was often wore on special occasions as if it was meant to be special from the very beginning.
