New York City politician Jimmy McMillan acquired nationwide praise and popularity when he initiated the 'Rent Is Too Damn High Party' in 2005 to support his abortive gubernatorial run. McMillan's message would pass over better in London these days where the mean worth of an apartment is $2200 and rents have increased 10.7% in 2015 alone.

Hence, Londoners are battling against their landlords on social media through campaign #VentYourRent, created by a Generation Rent. Generation Rent's Dan Wilson Craw told that the campaign includes all the shocking experiences like- poisoning, ceiling fans in and bullying homeowners and letting agents and many other.
Many renters have shared their experience about high rents charged and compared the services to the rent charge paid.
Well, doesn't matter whosoever is the person, be it an agent or the owner of the place itself but there is no rule anywhere to get inside the homes without the permission.
