We really underestimate what a regular fitness regime can do for us in the long run. But, this woman, a 64-year-old grandmother is really taking the Internet by storm and showing what fitness can yield to us. Wendy Ida is the mother to a 41-year-old Sky, and when they say that people mistake them for sisters, we can totally believe it.
For over two decades now, Wendy has been lending a couple of hours to her gym, and that is what is behind her extremely youthful build today.
Her secret happens to be the one that we already know, workout and a strict fitness regime.
When that ended, she had a bruised self-esteem. It was at that age of 43, when she started for the gym. Today, she is a top fitness trainer and life coach in LA.
"I'm 64 and in the best shape of my life,' she says. 'When I say how old I am people don't believe me and want to see my driving licence. People say I look like I'm in my early thirties."
"I had someone aged 22 think I was their age. And whenever me and Sky are together people mistake us for sisters. It happens so often."
After that, she also enjoys a run to her home at times, and salsa and hip hop dancing, too. On her 60th birthday, she gifted herself a Guinness World Record for doing 37 burpees in one minute.
"I want to be an inspiration to everyone who says, 'I'm too old and can't do it'", she says.
"Do a little exercise and work your way up and don't take no for an answer."
