Every once in a while, we come across incidents that make us think about ourselves, about our conscience and about the well-being of our closed ones. Below are some of the movies which in my opinion are life changing and inspiring as any incident you have ever encountered.
What if your whole life is a television show? Your friends, family and your loved ones, everyone is a part of the show and they are just playing the roles assigned to them. I bet you have never ever seen Jim Carrey like this before. The Truman Show will make you cry, smile and think at the very same time.
Schindler's List is a 1993 epic historical drama film. Oskar Schindler, the protagonist has many jews working under him and he decides to save them by using his power and money. This movie will leave you with a feeling of helping someone right away. "Power is when we have every justification to kill, and we don't."
What's Eating Gilbert Grape is the story of a boy named Gilbert, his whole life dangles between his family and brother. This flick will teach you about your qualities as a human being which most of us have forgotten. It is not about what you do for yourself, it's about what you do for others that really matters.
A guy walks out of his fulfilling life into the wild to search for the real meaning of the life. On his way, he meets different people which frame the course of his life. There is no greater joy than having new experiences everyday. Money and all other worldly stuff hardly matter when you are into the wild and constantly evolving with it.
As I am writing about Fight Club, I am breaking its first rule which says "you do not talk about the fight club." Fight Club unfolds itself as a delusion. The insomniac protagonist has no love for the society and he is willing to do whatever it takes to make him feel better. Indulging in violence, this flick's climax is going to leave you bewildered.
The real life story of entrepreneur Chris Gardner, The Pursuit Of Happyness is a story of victory after overcoming the hardships and struggle of a common man. There are a lot of people telling you that you cant do this you cant do that but in the end its the will-power which helps you to get through every battle in your life.
Dead Poets Society is a 1989 film set in the elite boarding school in 1959. Robin Williams is at his best when it comes to acting. A teacher teaches his students the more important things in life are love, beauty, and romance rather than the bookish knowledge required to make a career out of it.
