While most college students are doing part-time jobs for fulfilling their needs, one guy at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University thought of doing something out of the box. This college guy hails from Bermuda where social work is common.
He got a wonderful idea of starting a lawn care company for the elderly after cutting grass for an older man.
Scroll down to know his story.
Smith took up this challenge after seeing an elderly person struggling while mowing his lawn in the college town.
Then they took up the challenge and mowed 200 lawns in just three months.
Smith named his venture as 'Raising Men Lawn Service.' Surprising part is that he doesn't make any money out of his venture.
When a person mows the first lawn, he is given a white t-shirt.
This college senior follows a karate-like system for awarding the shirts of various colors i.e. white, orange, green, blue and black to the volunteers.
After mowing 50 lawns, a much desired black color t-shirt is provided to the volunteer.
Instead of completing his graduation in computer science, Smith is now aspiring to pursue degree in social work.
If you feel that these do-gooder guys are doing an amazing job, then share this story with everyone.
