A recent video by the YouTube channel, Blush, For Culture Machine gave Geeta Tandon the opportunity to share her story with the world. She survived Child marriage, marital rape, motherhood before 18 and a close call with prostitution. After all this struggle, she's managed to become one of the top stuntwomen of Bollywood. She's a body double for Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and many more.

What was suppose to provide Geeta with a stable life and a loving family turned into her biggest nightmare that would go on for five years. Her husband and his family had very different view on marriage. "I was a servant, a sex machine and a punching bag present to fulfill his needs." - Geeta
After her second child, she became more miserable. Geeta tried to run away from her husband three times, lodged many police complaints, but they were of no help.
Despite never having danced before, Geeta then joined a bhangra troop and was very thrilled. In 2008, a woman in her bhangra company asked her if she would like to perform the stunt.
For her first stunt, she had to be set on fire. She ended up with burns on her face.
She started to enjoy her work as it reminded her of her tomboyish childhood. She learned driving in only 20 days training program for a reality show. Now, she can drive any car or bike.
She was Deepika's stunt double in 'Chandni Chowk to China,' and worked for many famous actresses including- Parineeti Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and recently did a car chase scene for Aishwarya Rai's 'Jazbaa.' She went through many hardships. She suffered a tailbone and a spinal fracture and was told she would never recover from them.
Today she earns Rs 7-8 lacks on an average every year. She owns a house in Malad. Geeta plans to open a self-defense school for women.
