As creepy as it sounds, a farmer Ibrahim Basir, from a small village Felda, in Malaysia was left shocked when his co-worker Jamaluddin Abdul Samad, 50, asked him to see something he couldn't believe
Basir found a corpse of a newborn goat, which was birthed by one of his goats. But what made it shocking was that the goat was having facial features of a human.
63-year-old Basir speaking to UK Mirror, stated, "I was shocked but fascinated too as its face, nose, short legs & its soft body seemed like that of a human baby, whereas the light brown fur covering its whole body resembles that of a goat". He also affirms the absence of the umbilical cord. People of the village claims it to be a mythical fusion of a goat and human.
The newborn goat, however, couldn't live longer, and died shortly after, but the carcass has been handed over to the Veterinary Services Department, where they are going to test if it really is a goat-human hybrid.
He theorized that finding something very wrong with the newborn goat, its own mother may have stamped it to death. He also added that they kept the corpse packed in a box filled with ice before handing it over to the district veterinary office.
The people of the same village offered Basir money in exchange for the dead body of the newborn goat, to which Basir refused and decided to send it to get examined.
The examining of the goat may take few weeks to months. There are chances, for it to be a deformed goat, but we should never ignore the possibility of discovering something new. If the goat really turns out to be a human- goat hybrid, then it will be a major breakthrough in the study of human-animal hybrid.
If it actually is a goat-human hybrid, then the tests may give us an insight into the possibility of such creatures to survive in the future. Just like Basir, we are also curious to see the test results.
