The wax present in our ears is thought to be gross and a waste. However, its main function is to serve as a self-cleaning agent. But sometimes, it fails to perform the motto and just causes problems. Here is an incident where the wax doesn't function and is removed.
You'd find it to be dirty but you might not be able to look away.
Dr. Paul Thomas introduces us with the story of a patient. The patient told him that he had wax plugged in his ear.
The Dr. then enters the room of the patient and asks how he was? He continued interacting with his patient in order to know more about the situation like when the problems actually started.
The doctor then uses a Firefly Video Otoscope in order to look at the scenario inside the ear. He finds a big chunk of ear wax.
Dr. John then uses two of his tools in order to clean some part of his ear. After they do so, the doctor again looks inside the ear and finds out that the ear is a little clean but some wax is still present at the eardrum which he can't touch as it could damage the drum.
The doctor decides that he would use the flush therapy in order to clean the ear. John's nurse, Julie, comes in the room and keeps a diaper on his chest so that he or his clothes don't get wet.
The process begins with the nurse inserting water in the ear of the patient. And it showed signs that the process was ok and he would get his ear free.
After the process of flushing is done, successfully. The doctor again uses the fireball in order to see the changes in the ear. After a successful process of flushing, the doctor shows the patient how much clean was his ear.
The doctor told his patient that everything was in control and now he could hear even better. The doctor recommended that he would write a prescription and told him that it wasn't any infection and it was just ear wax plugged.
No one could think that this video would be so interesting, at the same time, it does look to be dirty and gross.
