Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is a very popular show produced by Neela Tele Films Pvt Ltd. TMKOC went on-air on July 28, 2008, and is aired on weekdays on SAB TV. This comedy show is based on the column Duniya Ne Oondha Chashma written by Taarak Mehta for Gujarati weekly Magazine Chitralekha. The show has completed nearly 1900 episodes and it is a very great job they are doing. Till now, no episode has been repeated.
The show is based on 6 Indian families residing in Gokuldham Society- a residential society in Mumbai. This show revolves around the daily happenings in the Gokuldham Society, a society well known for its culture, unity, love and care for each other and the fun that happens there. The show has earned many Indian Television Academy Awards for its best comedy. Every character in the serial is really great. Daya Ben's dialogue 'hey maa maataji' and her 'garba' has won the hearts of millions of show viewers. The fire-brigade Mehta Saheb of Jethalal, Health conscious Anjali Bhabhi, Gokuldham Societykaekmev secretary- Atmaram Tukaram Bhide, all kids loving gang- Tapu Sena, Nattu Kaka, Abdul, all are amazing characters. This show is my favorite and I hope the show must go on.
