In the year 2000, Claire Evans, a 19-year-old girl in England felt dizziness one bad morning. Claire, who used to remain fit felt weak and her muscles shivered. So she decided to go for the check-up.
After the diagnosis, she got to know that she suffered from multiple sclerosis. This disorder affects central nervous system and is incurable. She thought that she'd get paralyzed and will never be able to lead a normal life. And further, would never get a life partner.
Since then, Claire started responding to medication and she did not face any relapses. And till then, she also got to meet her work colleague, Paul.
After being for 4 years with each other, Paul and Claire became parents of a baby boy, Harry. Claire almost forgot about her illness and even after childbirth, she felt healthy.
… as Claire experienced another MS relapse. She felt numbness in her right part of the body. She was unable to feel or clasp the things.
She took cortisone for her illness and spent many months in the bed because of the inability to move. So she acquired much weight.
Claire woke up in pain one night. She was sure that it would be another Ms relapse.
The pain was getting worse, it was killing her like anything and so she called Paul for help.
It was shocking as Claire and Paul had no idea about Claire's pregnancy. Her periods were regular and that was the only thing that worked properly in her body.
While Claire was still on the toilet seat, she again felt the pain. She thought it to be placenta but when Paul took a look, he found a second baby.
Paul checked the breathing rate of both the babies and they both were still in shock that they are parents of twin girls.
All three, mother and two babies were reported fine then. And now, Claire can walk again, the twin girls- Macie and Charlie are well and so is their older brother. The twins are 10 years old now.
