Trypophobia or the 'fear of holes' is a condition that stimulates an individual to suffer an emotional reaction on viewing tame images of cluster of objects usually holes.
The trypophobia was first described on the internet in the year 2005. The human tends to experience changes after seeing those pictures or objects that contain holes.
Person suffering from this condition experiences cognitive changes like anxiety, skin related symptoms like itchiness and physiological changes like nausea or a racing heart.
The image configuration of this kind of images is internally excruciating to look at and so the person becomes restless, feels headaches, sweaty palms and discomfort.
The images pointed in the Trypophobia are generally of honeycomb, lotus seed head, aerated chocolates and few other. Else these images are innocuous.
According to one of the theory it is said that these images are hard to process by the brain of some people. Hence, they require more oxygenation for it. And so the results are experienced by those people.
I pity those people who feel crawling of skin after viewing such images.
It is one of the simulators that makes people uncomfortable.
Though officially it is not determined that Trypophobia is a type of phobia but it has started to become a serious problem.
As scientists are still finding why some people are sensitive to the presence of such holes as compared to others.
So if holes don't haunt you, consider yourself lucky.
