Man Spent 25 Years To Create An Amazing Underground Fairytale World
This world has been blessed with wonderful artists who have reflected the beauty of the untouched and unexpected things/places. They may be the ones carving pearls into skulls, turning beach trash into masterpieces or even imagining Disney characters as Game of Thrones cast!
Here we have another brilliant artist Ra Paulette who has been working every day for the past 25 years in the New Mexico desert to doing something incredible.
Ra Paulette has been carving castles out of sandstone caves.
He is a self-taught sculptor..
That's what makes his work ever more appreciable!
He looks for sandstone caves that are easy to chisel
Then comes the expansion and deepening of the caves.

The sculptor covers the walls with exquisite carvings.
He has done all this marvelous work just by himself.
He begins with cutting out windows and ceilings.
He calls his mysterious underground palaces 'protogenic sanctuaries.'
They are an outlet for self-expression.

He has a cozy corner for himself with all his essentials.
His astounding work recently became the subject of a blockbuster hit movie 'Cave Digger'
The film was nominated for an Oscar for best documentary!
His breathtaking work looks just out of a fairytale!
