Why are there a lot many body-positive ad campaigns around women but men are still shown with six pack abs in those underwear ads? That has just changed. American Eagle's underwear brand Aerie has brought in a new range of underwears and the ad campaign has changed a few things.
Here is how.
"American Eagle Outfitters is letting guys know they are more than their messy man buns and deeper than six-pack abs. It's about loving yourself inside and out!"
Because according to a Canadian research, "Our findings support the assertion that men are more commonly becoming the targets of mass media images, resulting in more emphasis on the muscular ideal."
