The dictionary defines Feminism as 'the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes.' A person who supports it is called a Feminist.
When I say I am a feminist, most of the times I get confused, amused, or hateful looks. Many take it as a way of being pro-women or anti-men agenda. Well, Feminism isn't any of these. It's a simple theory which acknowledges the fact that we are born human not men or women. Most importantly, I am a feminist because men suffer as much as women because of this inequality. To everyone who ever asked me why I am a feminist or wonders what is feminism, here is my answer to you. I am a feminist because I don't adhere to the following and consider them the elements that are exactly wrong with our society.
