Condoms, being the rubber sheath offer protection only against pregnancy and do not safeguard you against sexually transmitted diseases like HIV and the most fatal virus till date i.e. HPV. They provide only 60% protection.
HPV, Human Papilloma virus is a group of viruses that is found to be the prime cause of the epidemic disease and affects the skin and body parts like- an*us, scro*tum. It transmits from sexual contact and through the exposure of infected areas.
There is huge misconception related to condom and its demerit is overlooked many a times. Henceforth, the HPV virus which is caused as a result of low protection is affecting a lot many women and lies dormant for several years without getting noticed.
