Ingrown hair gets curved around the body and grows sideways into the skin. Hair, sometimes pop out and cause gangs of little bumps on the chins, cheeks or any other part after shaving. There are few regions that are specifically affected by ingrown hair. Henceforth in men, ingrown hair often grow as a bunch of bumps on cheek or neck after getting shaved up.
Check out one such related story of a man who faced the similar situation.
A 24 years old man chose to shave his body and get rid of all his ingrown hair while preparing for the swim competition. But after getting shaved, he noticed something unusual.
After two months of shaving, the man started noticing a brown shaded bump on his belly just above his naval. Initially, he ignored that but as time passed he experienced something different.
The man, with the passing time, found the area around bump as itchy and so he started scratching and grating the sore point.
When the man decided to check it up, it was found to be an ingrown hair. But he left that spot untreated which later caused hardship for him.
As the lump was kept rough, it itched to a tremendous extent and continued to grow inward. After almost a year, the infectious lump had grown to the size of a golf ball.
The golf-sized lump after months accumulated a huge amount of pus in it. Now he decided to get it treated.
After several days of avoidance, his girlfriend resolved to get that lump eliminated and so she herself poked and nudged at the lump and squeezed whole of the infection and pus out of the sore spot.
His girlfriend, a student nurse, made a cut initially using a sterilized needle and with the end of an hour, she finished off with a sterilized injection.
The ingrown hair is a result of clogging up of dead skin which forces the hair to grow inwards. And if the lump formed due to this gets festered, then it is required to get a proper medical treatment without any delay.
