Terri Evan, a mother of a 12-year-old from the UK shamed her son on Facebook by showing her disgust for "Purposefully treading" on a new student's shoes causing her heel to break. Terri took to Facebook and posted "If you so much as breathe in her or anyone’s direction in a bullying manner I will personally hand you over to their parents for every demeaning chore they see fit for as long as they do… kiss goodbye to your birthday money as you will be buying the girl a new pair of shoes and a bunch of flowers #iwillnothaveabullyinmyhouse".
While her son was initially tagged in the post, she untagged him as soon as the post started growing viral over the world of internet. Moreover, while some people praised her for being a mother and sharing it over in front of the world to teach her son a lesson, some people repelled at the fact that she shamed him out aloud.
Terri has now made the post private but has shared the following on her Facebook page saying that,"I stand by my actions and regret that it was shared widely."
Terri was literally angry at what his son tried doing at school and wanted to teach him a lesson.
She took it to Facebook and the post got shared a thousand times. She made it quite clear that this kind of a behaviour wouldn't be tolerated.
The commentators got divided into two. Some showed their support while some had their own views about Terri being a terrible mother and exposing her own son
"I don't care much who doesn't agree with my parenting style, my son humiliated and embarrassed a girl, regardless of his reasoning that little girl still cried, for anyone's knowledge that girl may have left her old school because she was being bullied… then imagine how much worse my son's ridiculous act would have made her feel."
"So my so called embarrassing him online is to be quite frankly nothing in comparison to the humiliation that little girl had to face walking around with a broken shoe and red eyes from crying when she is new.Ps… of course I sat and spoke to him about his behaviour, I didn't just tag him in a post and he read it! I am wholly confident this was a single occurrence which won't be repeated." This mother was surely up for teaching her boy a good life lesson. I am sure the boy won't repeat something like this in near future.
