Women in the ancient settlement, Huangluo in China are found following and keeping the tradition alive by growing long hair. They consider their hair so sacred that no one except their husband and children are allowed to see their loose locks. They feed their hair required nutrition and keep them so healthy that they don't turn grey even at a very old age.
Yes! You read it right. If any male traveller was found having a glimpse of woman's loose locks, he was forced to spend three years with her as her husband.
