Having a baby sounds like quite a nightmare. I mean, of course, those little doe-eyed humans are cute as heck but image all the shit cleaning sessions, screechings and what not. Shudders! Just one of them can be enough to handle but Josh and Miranda Crawford had quadruplets. Yeah, you heard it right! Four of them.
And, the news doesn't end here, there's more.. wanna know exactly what? Read below.
Both of them planned on having at least three to four children.
They conceived their first daughter through IVF.
So when Miranda wished to have another child, they leaned towards IVF again.
Doctor injected two embryos into her uterus. Six weeks later, the couple was given the good news that they are having twins.
Four weeks later they were told that they were actually having quadruplets.
"Embryo splitting occurs approximately in one out of 100 embryo transfers. The chance of this outcome is approximately one in 10,000. This could also occur in a natural conception, but the chance of that is much rarer," Dr. James Grifo said.
"I was shocked, the doctor was shocked," Miranda said. "Never had that happened in his entire career." Miranda gave birth to four healthy babies weighing from four-and-a-half to five-and-a-half pounds.
She has not just given birth to four babies but two identical twins.
The couple welcomed two set of twins.
The couple welcomed the cute babies home: Madison, James, Mia and Jackson.
Aren't these little people adorable?
