You go out and let your hair bath in all that pollution and dust. Yeah, it's true that body has mechanisms to take care of itself. But it does need our help in doing that. We take good care of our hair, applying expensive hair products which make them look good, but only for a day.
You can use it in powder form in a mask or paste. It would work best if you eat it.
It helps your hair to regain its original colour.
They reduce the greyness of hair and also help in retaining colour. Boil a cup of tea or coffee and let it cool for some time. Pour it on your hair after taking a shower.
It soaks up all the oil and makes your hair softer.
A brown sugar scrub is good for both your hair and face. It doesn't exfoliate but makes the texture of your hair better.
It can be used independently as well as along with a mask. It makes hair healthy and lustrous.
Cut up some garlic and put it in water overnight and use it as a tonic before shampooing. Keep it on for some time, to increase the effectiveness.
Clarified butter makes your hair soft and thick.
If you are not in a position of washing your hair, and there is a lot of oil build up in your hair, baking soda can be effective in that case. It soaks up all the oil and prevents your hair from smelling.
It contains unprocessed fats. And, so it is a good substitute for yoghurt or curd for softer hair.
All the oils are goof for hair. Especially cooking oil consisting of essential vitamins such as Vitamin E, A and D are believed to make hair darker and thicker.
Honey makes your hair softer, but excessive use of it may bleach your hair, so use it with moderation.
