Gender roles are strict that if you don't follow them, suddenly you lose your gender completely. Why can't a girl be hairy, or drive bikes, sit however they want to, dress however they want to, eat however they want to. Why does doing these things make them uncvilised or magically a guy? Why is beauty ruling over everything? Are beauty norms okay to exist?
These notion of perfectly fitting into your gender role, even though it's not necessary, is certainly a very patriarchial and forceful concept.
Girls who don't shave are still girls.
