Remember we all (well most of us) were enchanted with the beauty of calligraphy in our school days and wished to learn it some day? Well, here's an artist who has devoted his life to calligraphy and his work speaks for itself. Jake Weidmann is one of the only 12 'Master penmen' of the world, and yes, he's the youngest of all by a margin of three decades. Technically, a penman is "a vintage title that was given to someone whose career and professional skill sets were in the area of penmanship of various types.” And for sure, Jake's talent deserves to be given the title.
You can also buy his artwork from his website and fall in love with his detailed work.

"If you don't teach your child handwriting, the thoughts that they develop when they wish to communicate through a computer will vanish as soon as they touch the keyboard."
The typical way they graduated was by creating their own certificates of graduation. Penmanship in those days was considered to be a ticket to success in business.
