Read on to find out more about her.
Dana has taken a strong step against fat-shamers in today's world. This step has led to a big change. She sent a tight slap to everyone who ever tried to bully her.
Dana, aka Nolatrees, inspires thousands of her followers on Instagram and Facebook.
Dana, herself, has been battling with her weight since her childhood has found herself in between the never ending binge-eating cycle.
Dana confessed, "I did Weight Watchers, I went to fat camp, I had personal trainers. I would always lose the weight and then I would always gain it back, and I was just trapped in that cycle. It repeated itself over 10-plus years of my life."
Dana found out about Yoga classes in her college and went ahead. She found it much more difficult than what she had anticipated.
"I walked in having the largest body in the room on top of being the beginner, and yoga was hard. I couldn't hold down dog for 5 breaths, my shoulders were on fire, and all the while other people in the room were popping up into optional headstands like it was no big deal."
Even after facing challenges every day, Dana did not quit her yoga classes and soon, she found her new passion.
Soon after realising her new found passion for Yoga, she started teaching through workshops and also online.
"Yoga practice is progressive and so it's easy to miss all the steps in between while you're doing that. Looking back and being able to see is powerful. I encourage people to document their journey, it promotes body awareness."
However, Dana has also received negative criticism. But she doesn't let this bother her.
