Robin Chaurasiya was fired from the US Airforce for being a Lesbian and since then has always tried her best to break gender stereotypes. She has strongly opposed the infamous "Don't ask Don't' tell" policy for homosexual military personnel. In the year 2010, she came to Mumbai to start an NGO "Kranti" where she teaches the children of sex workers. "Kranti means revolution in Hindi and we call our girls revolutionaries or krantikaris," Chaurasiya says.She wants to change the miserable conditions of sex workers in India and make their voices heard.
