Deadpool is one movie filled with the references from other Marvel movies. Deadpool tapes a picture of Hugh Jackman over his face, so self-aware! The movie refers to X-men several times,too. And, it creates one new mutant and brings back another from the past- Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) and Colossus (voiced by Stefan Kapicic) resepctively. Know here, all you need to, about these two. Chances are high they'll reappear in Deadpool sequel which is already under development.
In the movie, both of these characters are not just sidekicks but are campaigning for him to join their squad.
Her real name is Ellie Phimister, and she is a footnote in the Marvel comics. She can predict the future by her dreams. She was first seen in 2001 X-Men comic as one of Emma Frost's students.
She had died early in the story, and it was later revealed that she was not real, but just a projection of Emma's imagination.
Along with her power of telepathy, she has the ability to act as a tiny bomb, too.
He was introduced in the film's epic opening credits. He had first appeared in Giant-Size X-Men #1, which came out back in 1975. The part of this Russian mutant was played by Daniel Cudmore in movies like- X2, X-Men: The Last Stand, and X-Men: Days of Future Past.
According to Till Miller, the director, Daniel was offered the role again this time, but he turned it down. But, no we didn't spot any difference (chuckle).
His real name happens to be Piotr "Peter" Rasputin, and he gets his powers when he saves his sister from a runaway tractor, that is, armored skin. He doesn't seem to know Deadpool in the movie, but these three could join for a team in the sequel. Do comment below what you think about this.
