25th Anniversary of Berlin Wall - Most Powerful Photos Defining The Rise and Fall of The Berlin Wall.

Fall of the Berlin Wall is a moment that every German cherishes. This year Germans are celebrating 25th Anniversary of the night Berlin Wall fell. It was an important event as it marked the end of Communism in Germany.

Germans have seen the time when at a Marriage celebration, few relatives stood at the east German side and others at the west.

During the 28 years that the wall stood, some 5,000 people attempted to escape and an estimated 600 were killed. Germans remember this day by leaving 15 kilometres long chain of lighted balloons in air along the former border.
