We all want to look better, not just for others but also for ourselves. We do not want to look unhealthy and we hope to be approachable to people.
But sometimes, our good intentions can backfire with how we deal with them. Read the story below to know how a woman made a mistake when she only wanted to take care of her skin.
Chantelle Currell is a 19-year-old woman who recently bought a face mask from the Asda retailer.
The face mask was the chocolate version and it only cost her one Euro.
Chantelle hoped that using the product would help remove the blackheads off her face and make her skin great.
Within three minutes of using the Montagne Jeunesse face mask, Chantelle felt something weird.
Chantelle Currell felt that her face was being burned badly.
She immediately took the face mask off by washing her face.
When she looked at herself, she realized that her face was indeed damaged. Because of this, Chantelle went to a specialist that knows about burns.
Sadly, the doctors told her that the Montagne Jeunesse face mask has effectively ruined her facial features.
Chantelle now has a hard time eating because of the blisters supposedly caused by the face mask. Her lips and cheeks have also become swollen.
The store where she bought the face mask from only offered her a refund. Thankfully, the company who made the product is investigating the case.
