First, Martin began having an awful sore throat. Next, he started sleeping for a longer amount of time each day. Eventually, he was unable to move.

Thankfully, Martin Pistorius began to have consciousness again by the age of 16. When he turned 19, his mind became fully normal. Still, he could not communicate with others.

When he reached 25, he was finally fully conscious again. In addition, Martin immediately told his parents about the physical and sexual abuse.

However, the staff of the care home denied that they abused him. They also did nothing regarding the case.

Martin now has a loving partner she met through the internet. Her name is Joanne and she is a social worker.
