Anorexia is simple a food eating disorder marked by fear of gaining weight, reduced weight, a strong thirst to remain thin and food constraints. Many people find themselves as overweight even if they are underweight.
Here is an example of one such girl who broke her ribs keeping this psychology in her mind. These photographs will literally shock you that how anorexic girl breaks her ribs.
Georgia McGrath, an 18-year-old teenage girl from East Yorkshire, suffered from anorexia in 2012. She weighed 10 stones approximately 63 kilos. She faced many "fat taunts" in her school days.
Georgia escaped her meals and became undernourished. She lived off with only 100 calories a day and plunged her weight till 5 stones near to 32 kilos. She was left up with a skeletal physical appearance.
She parched 1500 calories a day. She did work out so desperately that she burnt more calories than what she had. She did cycling 10 miles. She always faked up to eat and left the food in the kitchen so that nobody could make it out that she had not eaten.
Ms. McGrath jumped into her boyfriend Ashton Benton's arms for hugging and as she hugged she felt collapse size strokes. She was totally left tormented. She felt pain very badly. The picture was taken while she was hugging.
She was so thin and her bones were so fragile that when she jumped her ribs got fractured. No one in her family would have thought that posing for just a cute snap she would fracture her ribs.
The intense agony left her shaking up and she got awake after 45 minutes with wounds all over her body. Her whole body got dazed up and she was been hospitalized swiftly in August 2014.
Ms. McGrath was already warned by doctors that she's already undernourished but she always avoided. The time she got stroke, she fell ill to such an extent that she barely ate or fell asleep that time. She took couple of weeks to get into a better health and lifestyle.
Georgia's grandmother's dying wish prompted her more to beat and fight anorexia. She recovered herself completely with a healthy weight up to 10 stones 4lbs. This image clicking incident was a total wake-up call for her. She understood that she needs to defeat her illness. And so she started working on it.
She is so thankful to her family, friends and boyfriend Ashton. She was always scared of taking sugar. But she conquered her fear by opening up a new business of providing candy carts at wedding events. She is much happy and contented now and is going to meet Ashton's parents soon.
Marg Oaten says, "I really admire Georgia for turning her life around and moving forward into recovery. She is an inspiration to others that recovery is possible, but this may take a long time and often people's strengths are tested to the maximum".
