The couple Laura Jacques and Richard Remde were in extreme shock after the sudden death of their longtime companion Dylan. Both of them were unable to recover from this tragedy. They wanted to get their dog back at any cost.
Laura and Richard got the idea of cloning from a UK family who cloned their dog when he was alive. Fortunately, the couple was able to successfully clone their adorable pet after spending nearly £70,000. The results are delightful!
Initially, the couple was not sure about cloning their late dog Dylan.
But there was no British veterinarian ready to help them due to the fear of losing the license.
Few cells of Dylan were freezed until they were ready for cloning.
Fortunately, the new sample worked. The cells started growing after a few weeks.
Sooam Biotech confirmed two conceptions in the surrogate dogs.
The couple went happily to South Korea for the birth of their pet.
Now the couple has got 2 puppies.
The cells were not showing proper growth as they were taken from that of the dead dog for almost a fortnight.
The puppies have been named Chance and Shadow. The craze of the couple for animals can be understood by the number of pets owned by them. They have a golden retriever, a bull mastiff, a shih tzu, a cocker spaniel, seven guinea pigs, two rabbits, one gerbil and a hamster.
This incredible story is raising many ethical and moral issues.
