Betty Morrell is the daughter of Lena Pierce. Betty is her very first child, so they have a strong, loving relationship.
Betty Morrell was actually known by the name Eva May when she was born.
The state of New York ordered Eva May to be taken away because Lena Pierce. Lena was only 14-year-old when she gave birth to her.
Eva May was thankfully adopted. She was the only child and was eventually named as Betty.
When Betty's adoptive mother and father passed away, she spent 50 years trying to find her birth-giving mother, Lena Pierce.
Currently, Lena Pierce lives in Pennsylvania while Betty Morrell resides in Florida. However, they promise that they would keep in touch even after the reunion.
Finally, Lena Pierce and Betty Morrell were reunited on January 15. It was a heartwarming moment.
When they met at the Greater Binghamton Airport in the state of New York, they embraced each other tightly. After 82 years, they finally saw each other again.
