Moreover, Mr. Tesla's vision of what society could have become through science and technology is inspiring, even up to this day.

In addition, Tesla was also recognized for designing the induction motor and the Tesla coil. Still, he apparently had five more inventions that were just as interesting.

Nikola Tesla said back in the 1930s that he invented a machine that could apparently fire power beams that would annihilate anything located within 200 miles. However, the machine was never built, and the Death Ray design was lost forever.

JP Morgan gave Tesla money to create a transmitting tower located on Long Island. Tesla supposedly wanted to use to tower to provide free electricity, so JP Morgan discontinued the project.

Reports made in 1911 indicated that Tesla was designing a flying machine that looks like a flying saucer. His flying machine could apparently stay afloat in the air for quite some time.

Nikola Tesla wanted to build an electric airship that had its power generated from the sun and the Earth's atmosphere. While Tesla was incredibly influential to humanity, he barely had any money when he died in a small apartment in 1943.
