Michale Jackson is perhaps the greatest pop singer of all time. He has become an icon for millions of people, and his life has been well-documented.
Still, his decision to change his skin color was controversial. Now, there is another issue as a white man will apparently portray the pop star. But how would Michael Jackson feel about such a proposal if he was still alive?
Find out below.
Michael Jackson would feel bad if he was alive today. It has been revealed that a white actor will act as the king of pop for a television series.
There will be a series about Michael Jackson's life back in 2001. It will be comedic, and the British actor Joseph Fiennes will get the role.
Of course, a lot of people were angry over the news. Even Joseph Fiennes himself was surprised because he is a white guy from London.
The controversy today brings back an interview of Michael Jackson with Oprah.
During the 1993 interview at the Neverland Ranch, Oprah asked how Michael Jackson felt at the rumor that a white boy would represent his young self in a Pepsi commercial.
The singer believed that a white boy portraying his childhood was stupid because he is proud of being a black American.
Michael Jackson said that the rumor is as stupid as asking Oprah's character to be portrayed by an oriental person.
What do you think? Should Joseph Fiennes still get the role?
