Rob O'Neill : The Guy Who Killed Osama Bin Laden

Robert nbsp;"Rob" O'Neill is a former United States Navy SEAL, best known for his claims in November 2014 of having fired the head shots that killed Osama bin Laden  during the raid on his Abbottabad  compound on May 2, 2011.

He was born and raised in Butte Montana. When he was young his dad took him hunting and taught him sharpshooting. With the hope of becoming a sniper, a year after graduating from Butte Central Catholic High School at the age of 19 a year after graduating, he joined a Navy. He sought enlist as a marine, where he had known some friends to become a sniper. One day he arrived at the recruitment office. Since the Navy officer was there instead of Marine officer, he suggested O'Neill to enlist in the Navy and become a sniper.

During his career on 11 occasions, he left home thinking he would not return alive. Reportedly he was involved in more than 400 missions as a member of the Navy, including the mission to save Captain Richard Phillips  during the Maersk Alabama hijacking, and Operation Red Wings  in which O'Neill helped save Marcus Luttrell. After 16 years of service and 4 years of shy retirement, in 2012, O'Neill left Navy. Now he is a Public speaker employed by Leading Authorities which is a speakers bureau

He rose up the chain of command to Senior Chief Special Warfare Operator. Including  twoSilver Stars, four Bronze Stars with Valor, a Joint Service Commendation Medal with Valor, three Presidential Unit citations, and two Navy/Marine Corps Commendations with Valor, He received 52 Decorations.

Ex Navy SEAL Rob O'Neill has revealed himself as the shooter who killed Osama Bin Laden, the mastermind of 9/11 attacks and late chief of Al Qaida. As Robert James O'Neill contemplated his jump from a helicopter into Osama bin Laden's private garden, he was positive it would be his last. He was prepared for a hell lot of shooting and ambush, but fortunately, they killed one of the most feared man in world in less than 40 minutes and buried him in the ocean.

It s a rare act of bravery, to reveal himself in front of whole world. We salute this serviceman!

Taking out Osama was not easy. Like the other missions, this mission too would have cost him his life. But he did a great job and we salute him. Instant and  critical decision-making are necessary in his line of work in order to succeed and he has proven experience in exceptionally high-risk and fluid environments. As a public speaker he has been his unique expertise to organizations translating his elite SEAL  team training into high-impact, actionable insights on leadership, decision-making, operating in uncertain environments, the way to become best of the best. 'Never quit' his mantra, he believes is the single most factor in determining success.

There are fair share of Hollywood movies based on Rob O'Neill, Lone Survivor, Captain Phillips and Zero Dark Thirty.

He is a real life hero!
