These planets can be viewed only at dawn as they resemble stars and shine brightly in the morning twilight.
This phenomenon can be viewed from 23rd of January to the first week of February.
If you wish to see this phenomenon, you need to look at a specific time because if you look too early, Mercury would still be hidden by horizon and if you look too late than it would be washed by sunlight. The perfect time to watch this phenomenon is for about 50-60 minutes.
Mercury would be located in the south-east at a very low position. Venus would be on the upper right of mercury and the other three planets would be further towards the upper right of Venus.
If you own a telescope, then you'll be lucky as you can easily locate the moons and rings on different planets.
The line-up of these five planets is equal to around 110 degrees which is about half the visible sky in an area. These occasional sightings take place because of the movement of planets around the sun also known as revolution.
During this phenomenon, the moon will change its position and pair up with different planets. It would first pair up with Jupiter followed by Mars, Saturn, Venus and Mercury.
