Mix 1 cup pineapple juice, ½ tbsp. apple cider vinegar, 1 pinch cayenne pepper and 1 tsp honey in a pan. Heat it to your preferred drinking temperature. Vitamin C is the major ingredient of this drink which helps in improving your immunity. The antibacterial properties of cayenne pepper stimulate a steady blood circulation. Besides sweetness, honey also helps in healing your sore throat.
Combine 2 tbsp. sage leaves and 1 cup of hot water. Steep the mixture for 10-15 minutes and then filter the leaves out of it. Add lemon or honey for a delicious tea. The astringent tannins acid present in sage prevents sore gums or throats and even tonsils.
Mix 1 cup of lemon juice with a pinch of ginger and blend it in a mixer. Add 2 dashes of cayenne pepper, 1 dash of turmeric powder and 1 drop of mint extract to the mixture. You can also add 1-2 drops of stevia to get a sweet flavor. Add warm water to double the volume of the drink. Fry 1 large chopped yellow onion in olive oil until it turns brown. Then transfer it into a bowl. Fry 4 lbs. of chicken backs in the same pan until it turns pink. Lower down the flame and add the fried onions into the pan. Heat the mixture for 15-20 minutes. Add 2 quarts of hot water, 2 tsp of salt, 2 bay leaves, 1 chopped carrot, dashes of ginger, garlic and chilies to the mixture. Heat on medium flame until the veggies are cooked. Filter the bones, bay leaves and unwanted veggies from the soup. The presence of cysteine in chicken soup helps in boosting the immune system.
